These are Uncle Kayzie's version of the Polish crescent-shaped biscuit rogaliki.

250g margarine soften in microwave for 30 seconds   cream until light and fluffy Knead well using both hands. Roll into a rope, cut into small pieces, and roll them into a moon shape. Bake in slow oven, 30–40 minutes or until slightly golden.
1 cup castor sugar
3 egg yolks   beat in
1 cup ground almonds   mix in
250g greek-style yoghurt
2 cups plain flour   fold in and stir until a dough forms
1 cup self-raising flour
