To type in the note 16#g2 in the 3210's built-in composer:

  • pitch g -- press 5 on the keypad to get this
  • duration 1/16th of a beat -- press 8 and 9 to change duration
  • octave 2 -- press * to change the octave of a note
  • sharp # -- press # to make a note sharp or natural
  • 4.g1 -- if you press a note and hold down for a second it will be dotted, and last half as long again as a normal note.
