Cut-throat razor

I'm at university: if I want to learn a thing, I read a book on it. These two books are apparently authorities on shaving with a cut-throat razor:

Practice and Science of Standard Barbering, Henderson Barber College, Henderson KY 1938-1964. Standardized Textbook of Barbering, 4th ed. Association of Master Barbers and Beauticians, 1950. Both are out of print. I suggest looking for second-hand copies at AbeBooks.
