Stuffed figs with goat cheese

12 fresh figs   trim off stems and cut an X in the top of each, 1/3 of the way down, and stand upright on a tray   broil 4 minutes or until cheese begins to brown
113g soft goat cheese put in a piping bag and massage until soft   pipe in
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil   brush with and season
salt and pepper
1/4 cup date honey warm gently so it is pourable, not hot   drizzle
Instead of a piping bag, you can use a plastic bag. Cut the corner off to pipe.
If the figs don't stand upright, shave a bit off the bottom.
Serve warm or room temperature.
